私たちはコーヒーを通して、地域や人とのコミュニケーションを生む目的としてCAFEという場を提供しています。
以前はいつでも活気にあふれていたであろう、門前町、参道を再度活気あふれる場にしたいと考えています。
そのため、我々の考える店構えは開放的であり、地域との関係を第一に考えています。
外のベンチは参道（MAP 
）の休憩所としても考えています。内装の意匠も門前町の雰囲気を壊さないよう日本の材料、杉材、大谷石などをアクセントとし、本物の仕上げ材料で内装を構成しています。
この場が古くから甘酒屋さんだった歴史も全て消すことなく以前の御客様も立ち寄ってもらえる場でありたい。
そして、このカフェから新しいコミュニケーションが生まれることが私たちの喜びです。
Monz Cafe is located in Monzen-nakacho, one of the traditional areas in Tokyo, along the path leading to distinguished temple and shrine.
It is our wish to contribute to the local community by encouraging and energizing the bonding of people through our coffee and cafe.
And for this reason, our cafe space is designed to be open.
The record says that the space the cafe currently is in used be a Wagashi (Japanese sweets) store that opened up in the first year of the Meiji era, 1868. And a few decades ago, the store was serving Amazake (sweet non-alcoholic sake drink).
The cafe, both exterior, and interior, is a renovation of an existing Japanese-style building and like the olden days, natural construction materials like timber and Oya-stone are used to retain the atmosphere.
It is to our greatest happiness to provide a base to foster both existing and new interactions, linking people to people in this historic neighborhood.
